ABOUT SOMER WATERS ENERGY WORKS
Somer Waters Energy Works is a family- and friend-owned business based in Pasadena, proudly serving our local community within a 10-mile radius to ensure reliability and personal service.
Founder and Master Electrician Somerset “Somer” Waters has been working in electrical and renewable energy since the mid-1990s. His career spans low-voltage and fiber optics, line voltage and wiring for artists, and over a decade in the solar and renewable energy sector. Along the way, Somer gained deep experience with both union and cooperative models, including co-founding Pacific Electric Coop, one of the region’s early unionized worker-owned shops.
Today, Somer brings that expertise back to his roots: providing dependable, energy-efficient solutions for homes and businesses. In addition to electrical work, Somer and his team are expanding into plumbing services, offering outdoor showers, gray water tie-ins, fountains, property maintenance, drain snaking, and more as they secure additional licensing and insurance.
At the heart of Somer Waters Energy Works is a commitment to sustainable solutions, skilled craftsmanship, and a community-first approach.
OUR SERVICES
With over 30 years in the trades, we’ve learned that great work is about more than just wires and pipes, it’s about finding smart, reliable solutions that make projects flow and relationships last.
Every job comes with a 2-year warranty, and we’re not afraid of the tough stuff — enormous tree hung chandeliers, asbestos-coated wires, new builds, excavation challenges — throw it at us, we’ll handle it.
And because electrical and plumbing often go hand-in-hand, we offer both, so you don’t have to juggle multiple contractors or deal with “sticky-shocky mix-ups.” Just efficient, elegant solutions that keep your project on track.
